Description:

The Revenue Management Commercial IOC Officer represents Revenue Management and works as a part of key decision making Team within the Operations Control environment. He has to minimize commercial implications caused by Flight Disruptions through proactive monitoring, planning and coordinating of irregular operations with all relevant stakeholders. He assesses and evaluates day-to-day passenger misconnections and formulate solutions to facilitate service recovery maximizing revenue retention on Qatar Airways.
The accountabilities of the RM Commercial IOC Officer are:
Represent Commercial and provide inputs in the decision making.
Support effectively flight disruption & passenger re-protection service recovery planning.
Ensure all delayed departures & arrivals are monitored and appropriate action taken within the stipulated guidelines
Communicate to stakeholders in timely manner, the updates and options for passenger’s misconnection.
Gather and coordinate commercial feedback with Global Sales, Field Sales, Distribution, Revenue Management for IOC decision making.
Prepare and analyze the Priority Flight Report and circulate the same to all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role has a Bachelor Degree or equivalent, minimum 4 years of experience in airline or travel industry in Airport Operations or disruption management and good understanding of Revenue Management principles.
You must have good knowledge of commercial drivers within an Airline operation and understanding of various government/ IATA regulations on passenger’s rights amd compensations; is also required experience using Operational System, Altea Inventory and Amadeus Reservation systems, strong analytical and quantitative skills, problem solving, communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Fluent in written and spoken English, customer focused and able to make decision working under pressure.
