Description:

We are looking for a Senior Sales and Servicing Agent to be based in our London office and provide sales and servicing support for UK and trade client groups. You will maximise revenue from these customer segments whilst providing a source of expertise to the the UK Commercial team in all matters relating to Groups reservations procedures.
You will predominantly deal with customers over the phone and by email however face to face meetings with customers may be required.
Specific accountabilities include:
Groups - maximise revenue from UK group booking segment, handling all aspects of UK Groups booking process from initial point of contact through to materialisation of group travel request and ticketing. This includes the negotiation of group quote, liaison with HQ group desk for space and pricing, relationship management with trade partner/customer, provision of weekly and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders
Disruption management - provide additional reservations and ticketing support as required y the business in event of ad hoc operational need or disruption management which may include but is not limited to assistance with re-booking as a result of cancellation, equipment change, oversell delayed aircraft, schedule change management. You will assist with customer call out and re-accomodation process
Customer service - be an ambassador for QR in all contacts with direct and internal customers by providing accurate and timely information on Qatar Airways policy, procedures and pricing at all times

Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally have:
High school education
Previous experience working within a groups role ideally within an airline or tour operator
Extensive experience in a customer facing role
Through knowledge of fares, ticketing, transfer and passenger procedures is required
Proven understanding of a GDS Reservation and Ticketing System (Amadeus Native User experience preferred)
Knowledge of MS Excel and Power-point
Fluency in English
