Description:

Plan and control stores activities through leadership of stores team, to maintain and control the storage of landside and airside inventory items; and aircraft parts, tooling and equipment, required to support the running of planned operations. Initiate & develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles that arise in the ongoing business of receiving and delivering parts, materials and other consumable stock items. Provide solutions to the EFTA Managers to improve procedures, services and reduce cost. Develop accurate, consistent enhancements to the inventory reporting structure. Responsible for the proper processing of unserviceable, scrap and out of date parts, materials and consumable stock items. In particular: - The management of parts requiring repair and/or overhaul - The disposal of hazardous items/materials - The disposal of scrap and unsalvageable aircraft parts - The disposal of secure or sensitive documentation Responsible for analysing the projected growth of the Emirates Flight Training Academy student population and aircraft fleet, to ascertain longer term requirements, including material estimates and storage space. Continually monitor stock usage and develop optimum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted material delivery to meet various requirements of EFTA maintenance operations. Ensure that stock levels are maintained at minimum stock levels to minimise inventory and depreciation costs. Monitor daily and weekly transactions and manage the raising of requisition orders to procure stock appropriately. Coordinate with external and internal areas for timely receipt of aircraft stock and Ensure that used and / or unserviceable items are returned in a timely manner to concerned stores for reparir / or disposal. Control stock inventory by identifying the need to adjust the stock level of inventory items and identify adjustments to items considered to be standard inventory items. Control the ordering process of non-inventory items required to support and ensure on-going operations. Monitors the movement of stock between Stores locations in order to ensure that minimum quantity is always stocked and available to provide an uninterrupted supply to the business. Provide solutions to improve procedures, services and reduce cost. Develops accurate, consistent enhancements to the inventory reporting structure. Analyze the projected growth to ascertain longer term requirements and ensure uninterrupted material delivery to meet various cleaning requirements of the business.

Requirements:

Experience:

Aircraft Stores: 5+ Years


Knowledge/skills:

Experience in the control of stock and inventory, with experience at a supervisory level.
Good knowledge of computer applications and inventory control.
Good knowledge of store keeping procedures and requirements. Ability to recognize and identify various types of parts, materials and tooling used in aircraft maintenance,
Knowledge of Oracle and Maintenance Management System.
