Intern (m/f) Human Resource Development
Starting in September 2017 for 6 months
Singapore (Singapore)

For our Human Resource Development team at the Asia-Pacific Lufthansa Group Sales headquarters in Singapore we are looking for a motivated and proactive intern (m/f) to support us for six months starting from September 2017. Human Resource Development is responsible for important stages of the employee lifecycle such as recruiting, and people development in the Asia Pacific region. Our tasks refer to e.g. Human Resource Development related projects and programs, talent management, and succession planning. Furthermore, close collaboration with our internal interfaces worldwide as well as with the Asia Pacific region is part of our daily work as we cover the sales headoffices in Delhi, Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore. In addition, we build the important interface between the region and our headquarters. All our interns are fully integrated into the team while working on their own projects as well as supporting the daily business.

Your Tasks may include the following:

Insights into and support of the recruiting process e.g. prescreening of applications, communication with applicants, preparing and participating in job interviews
Active involvement in planning, scheduling, and delivering Human Resource Development concepts and projects
Communication with relevant stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region as well as in headquarters
Support on yearly performance appraisal and talent identification process
Involvement in organizational change activities and projects
Contribution to our internal communication channels and intranet website
Assistance on the yearly employee survey
Research on Human Resource related topics
Ad hoc administrative tasks and support in daily business

Requirements:

Your profile
Completion of minimum three semesters in (Business) Psychology or in a related field of study
Previous practical experiences in Human Resources desirable
Enrolled during the entire period of the internship (please attach the current certificate of enrollment) or internship between the Bachelor and Master program (Gap Year)
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and empathy
Ability to work independently and under pressure
High degree of accuracy and organizational skill
Flexibility and quick adjustment to new tasks and situations
Ability and willingness to work in diverse and virtual teams
High motivation to take on responsibility
Excellent communication skills on all levels, internally and externally, e. g. with candidates and hiring managers
Fluency in English required, German preferred, other foreign languages of advantage
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
Must fulfill all criteria to obtain a Work Holiday visa for Singapore
