Korean Air’s Information Technology Development Center (ITDC) is currently seeking a Software Engineer/Architect to lead our development center near downtown Los Angeles, CA. 1. Position: Senior Software Engineer/Architect(JOB CODE: ITDC1707SE)

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Job Type: Contracted Full-time



2. Job Description/Responsibilities

• Responsible for building and designing best practice development processes for

Korean Air and Hanjin Group subsidiaries

• Creates architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms

• Ability to develop applications across multiple platforms

• Lead a team of developers to complete projects in a timely manner

• Present creative technical solutions to business stakeholders and key executives

• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by managers

Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

• Minimum (5) years demonstrated experience as a full-stack developer

• Minimum (3) years demonstrated experience leading a team of developers to fully developed products

• Experience with various software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Extreme Programming (XP), and test driven development (TDD)

• Highly technically skilled with multiple development projects completed

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must be able to travel internationally without restrictions

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information sciences, or other relevant disciplines



4. Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science, information sciences, or other relevant disciplines

• Exposure to any of the following technologies: IOS/Android/Java/C#/Node.js/Amazon Lambda/LEX/Alexa/AWS/Spring
