Description:

This is a clinical role responsible for providing psychological support and counselling to all QR group employees; assessing and evaluating individuals' problems through the use of case history, interview, observation and psychometric assessments, conducting fitness for duty assessments for employees, providing individual counselling to enable employees overcome difficulties, make decisions and promote personal development, in line with international and professional standards of care. This involves working with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare practitioners catering to the psychological and emotional well-being of a multicultural adult population.
Role responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessment and evaluation to identify underlying issues in employees and assess fitness for safety critical roles across the group
Manage individual clinical case load through brief therapy and individual case management, including liaison with specialist for pharmacological interventions
Follow best practice guidelines in case management and record keeping as per international clinical psychology guidelines
Support occupational health and primary care through behavioral health interventions, including psychological wellbeing awareness programs and campaigns.

Requirements:

To be successful for that role you must have Master’s Degree or equivalent in Psychology from an international recognized university. You should have a State of Qatar SCH license to practice. Additional Certifications in Clinical or aviation psychology background is preferred.
You have a minimum of 7 years of Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist experience is required. You must have a proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business as well as ability to work as a reflective practitioner with expertise in providing clinical therapy for depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, stress related disorders.
