Description:

Ensure that all course curricula are aligned to corporate objectives and business plans, and comply with GCAA ATPL standards and regulations as appropriate. Deliver Theoretical Knowledge training programmes to a multicultural audience within the EK Flight Academy and provide qualitative feedback on the training programme, taking various learning styles in to consideration.Job Outline:


Instruct students in a range of ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects, in accordance with the applicable training and quality standards and/or other authorities.


Provide qualitative feedback in the creation or modification of lessons, training materials & instructional models.


Deliver the full course of instruction within the hours allocated, Ensure timely and pro-active reporting and action to prevent delays and unsatisfactory progress.


Monitor, support and assist students throughout the course, both within and ouside the classroom, to ensure students are motivated and that they successfully complete the course.


Ensure timely and accurate completion of all relevant administration and theoretical knowledge training records, including planning for examinations.


Actively support the integration of Ground School and Flight School, and interact with the flight school training team to optimize the student experience.


`Teach by example? by behaving as an exemplary role model to students, promoting professional, disciplined and safe behaviour. Ensure all students comply with the uniform and grooming standards of the EK Flight Academy.


Monitor status and cleanliness of all classroom equipment and report discrepancies to the Services & Support team.


Identify and initiate improvements, and work to constantly improve standards and quality levels.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

8+ Years experince with relevant airlines flight Ops knowledge gained through pilot, flight engineer, dispatch qualification or flight navigator experience.Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) with subject matter expert in atleast 3 ATPL TK subjects.
Have delivered at least 1 complete course of ATPL Theoretical Knowledge instruction at a recognised Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

Knowledge/skills:


Sound knowledge of regulatory rules and guidelines (EASA or GCAA preferable)

Self-motivated, with proactive and effective leadership and teamwork skills International outlook, ability to deal comfortably with various cultures is vital. Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interact well with trainees MS OFFICE experience.

Ability to adapt to paperless teaching methods.
