Description:

Job Purpose:To contribute towards development, implementation and maintenance of business processes related to Commercial and e-commerce. To Co-ordinate with all related departments including Corporate Communications to implement, manage, and continually improve e-commerce distribution mechanics. To plan and implement Marhaba product development strategies based on evaluation of specific markets including Dubai to complement the growth aspirations of the business unit including Marhaba expansion plans. Job Outline:
Plan


Regularly researches developments on competitor sites, identify valuable features and analyse new possibilities in order to enhance the booking engine to match market needs. Also carry out periodic pricing comparisons between benchmarked world-wide web-sites and Marhaba services web-sites in order to highlight areas where Marhaba Services does not have competitive fares.

Manages management reporting on Internet sales to include assistance in gathering information from all Commercial departments about e-commerce development needs, requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and outputs.

Gathers and analyse business and technology requirements to create development specifications for the roll-out of online booking via www.marhabaservices.com, local/regional web-sites, Corporate Extranets and Travel Agent B2B websites in conjunction with Corporate Communication. Discuss the technical requirement with corporate communications and inventory controller system logic change.
Deploy


Develops training solutions for brand image in close liaisons with the Training team, SDC ? Standards, Quality and Procedures, and other collaborative depts. Ensure that training is delivered to all staff in order to keep them apprised of the Marhaba brand image and meet the business standards.
Lead


Liaises with relevant group departments, including corporate communications, to identify areas for improvement and achieve delivery of non-service level aspects. This includes co-ordinating with facilities and corporate communication to ensure consistent and timely roll out of brand image across all locations within UAE and for overseas projects.

Proposes and initiate qualitative and quantitative online research projects across a number of key markets & brands globally in order to determine positioning, awareness, affinity and response to brand. Manage continuous programme of audits to encourage continued improvement within the department and random audits on the day to day functions within the units to ensure that the service delivery and brand standards are maintained.
Execute


Ensures with the Corporate Communications team that all communication activities are commensurate with the Marhaba brand strategy, brand values, positioning and propositions that will grow brand equity. Review concepts from sales team through research of the market landscape propose and initiate requirements into tangible products for successful implementation. Maintain and support e-commerce links to other websites and portals, which will support e-commerce plans of Marhaba Services, and distribute products and services. The objective is to promote direct sales strategy of Marhaba Services in order to achieve distribution cost savings and generate incremental revenue.

Implements, monitors and measures the brand-related Service Level Agreements with clients & vendors to maintain the Marhaba brand. Keep abreast of the changes to corporate client requirements and ensure that front line staff are kept abreast of enhancements to the brand and its positioning.

Develops and manage online Commercial Relationships within the Affiliate marketing program. Leverage the relationships to develop and implement activity to increase online conversions. Implement commercial contracts and ensure that these and existing agreements are maintained and administered in a professional manner such as but not limited to redemption through skywards, other loyalty programs, priority pass etc.

Accountable to scope various Marhaba new product roll out initiatives in DXB/DWC/BAH and ensure timely delivery from all external stakeholders. Closely monitor the project plans, making adjustments as the timescales and requirements change. Ensure that all initiatives are within budget and escalate when appropriate. Report progress to the management team, on a regular basis, including any changes that have an implication on operations or the ability to deliver the service.

Provides the required information to department managers for the budget preparation and monitors the financial performance of the concerned area against budgets.

Ensures compliance to all relevant safety policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude and the implementation of BAPP.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing and E-commerce
Experience:


Bachelor Degree: 6-8 years of experience in Business, Marketing and E-commerce

Diploma: 8-10 years of experience in Business, Marketing and E-commerce
