We have an immediate opening for an Electrical designer within Bombardier Aerospace Experimental (BAEX) department.

BAEX is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, responsible for the experimental design for all of Bombardier Aerospace testing requirements.

You will be part of the team responsible for electrical design for the system ground test rigs. You will be supporting the development of new aircraft programs such as the CSeries and the Global 7000/8000.

In your role, you will:

- Interpret the technical specifications for test requirements and instrumentation,
- Select electrical equipment and sensors
- Produce electrical wiring diagrams, systems definition drawing and harness specifications
- Write technical documents

You will have the opportunity to be involved in the concrete achievement of your designs by participating in the build, commissioning and test phases.



As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with five (5) years or more experience in design;
- You have a good understanding of electrical control systems;
- You have an experience and understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition systems;
- You have a knowledge of Industrial Controls design and installation experience, including Programmable Logic Controllers, relay logic, electric motors;
- You possess strong resolution skills with demonstrated structured thinking ability;
- You have a good understanding of aircraft systems operation and experience related to testing and experimental engineering an asset;
- You possess strong communication and leadership skills, sense of responsibility, excellent practical and technical judgment;
- You are proficient (written & verbal) in French and English.
