About the job
To carry out theoretical and practical training, perform practical assessment and develop training material and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruct staff of Regulatory and Development Training (i.E. Task Training, A320 General Familiarization, A320 Refresher, Fuel Tank safety, ABY Procedures)
Develop in conjunction with the MTT a training schedule for staff to attend such training.
Develop In conjunction with the MTT a Training Needs Analysis for the staff.
Review the competency of staff on OJT or practical training
Maintain records of such training and carry out assessment of staff on regular, agreed timeframes.
Develop in conjunction with the MTT, following a review, a yearly plan on development
Assist the MTT in preparing budget for training for each year
Self-develop to instruct internally any courses beneficial to the Company and staff and develop relevant training material
Maintain awareness of the Regulation (Competent Authority), Industry best practice and to seek opportunities for training enhancement
Maintain expenditure within the agreed budget
Maintain discipline of all trainees in line with ABY policies
Develop in conjunction with the MTT, procedures, processes, and documents to support the training department.
Seek in conjunction with the MTT additional 3rd party business opportunities

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Holder of an AME license or aeronautical academic degree
Maintenance experience or experience in teaching practical training.
Working experience in a CAR/EASA 145 or CAR/EASA 147 organization
Knowledge of A320 (desired)
