Description:

These positions will cover non-core functions or work assignments influenced by heavy loads. The Ready Reserve Supply Attendant is responsible for carrying out the normal day to day activities associated with the warehousing and distribution of parts in support of maintenance activities. Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to: responsible for safe operation of mechanical and manual material handling equipment; responsible for safe operation of company vehicle.

All operational activities are performed in accordance with FAA, DOT, and Delta procedures and policies, some of which include the handling of HAZMAT, maintaining shelf life, static sensitive parts, as well as, other aircraft part requirements. Routine duties include, but are not limited to, parts picking, receiving, binning, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrity, which will require you to have the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Ready Reserve Supply Attendants positions us to maintain superior customer experiences during higher peak volumes in the operation to manage staffing coverage for Operations. All positions in Stores are required to practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. The seasonal coverage will be based on operational needs. Employees may be considered for additional help during Summer and Winter Peak Season.

As part of our Ready Reserve program, you can work up to 1300 hours per year. This position could be the perfect entry-level position which could eventually, allow you to apply for a full-time position if you so desire. The benefits include flight privileges.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must:
Have a valid driver's license
Be authorized to work in the US
Have the ability to read, write and speak English
Be able to work a flexible schedule including shifts, weekends and holidays

Should possess the ability to meet deadlines with high productivity and accuracy. Prefer experience in warehousing and logistics. Should be a team player with focus on customer service. Must be willing to work on a rotating shift basis. Should possess a working knowledge of personnel computers and the ability to work well with other people. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
