Welcome and thank you for checking-in about the opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Utility Employee I.

Job Summary: Utilize various chemicals and cleaning agents to completely clean and prepare the aircraft for maintenance, inspections and in process work. Utilize large equipment such as forklifts and bag tugs to retrieve and store hangar equipment. This job will entail performing daily equipment Pre-operational Inspections(POI), Maintenance of hangar bays, Hangar door track cleaning, servicing batteries on various pieces of equipment, general cleaning and straightening of ramp equipment, light maintenance of aircraft equipment and general cleanliness of the hangars. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications: Must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. Must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Should be able to meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions. Preferred formal mechanical/technical training or background. Must have a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
