Description:

Responsible for supporting the Flight Ops strategy to continue to build and strengthen the brand by providing support for several high level programs. This position will be responsible for the day to day management of Flight Operations' hotel and transportation management strategy. The position requires successful partnering with senior leaders within the department, FOP Field Leadership, Corporate Travel Services (CTS), the Operations Customer Center (OCC), the pilot's union hotel committee (ALPA), Corporate Security and other matrix support groups. This position ensures that the division has a plan to support the line pilot while on layover and the Company's financial bottom line in regards to our more than 250 hotel and 100 transportation contracts worldwide. Position will entail executive reporting and review of many metrics including the FOP Flight Crew Reporting (FCR) system to gather intelligence from the field and ensure proper focus on any problem markets or systemic issues. This position will also be responsible for managing Flight Ops' vendor uniform contract and strategy as well as other programs as identified by the General Manager - Flying Ops. Strategic and creative planning, decision making, interpersonal relations and the ability to build relationships between all levels of leaders and outside departments are critical skills. This position will require domestic and international travel as necessary to participate in high visibility market/hotel inspections. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field strongly preferred. 3 to 5 years Supply Chain Management, Corporate Travel, Finance, or related experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in research and analysis, forecasting, negotiation, contract management, managing work, financial analysis and meeting leadership.
Competent presentation skills, including use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Competent in presentation skills; communication skills; project management; value-based decision analysis; process design and improvement; and consensus building.
Fully competent in optimizing own capacity; demonstrating openness and self-confidence; managing interactions with others; building value-based relationships; exerting personal influence; driving customer-based business strategies; understanding the system; accepting and building accountability
