Main Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed professional for an opportunity with Cathay Pacific, Mumbai. This is a central coordination role to ensure satisfactory IT support, smooth IT project rollout and effective use of IT within South Asia (SAMEA).



Key Responsibilities:

Monitor a region’s overall IT support performance levels and consolidate end user feedbacks on IT support on a regular basis.
Identify and drive implementation of improvement opportunities to raise a region’s overall IT support performance levels by working in partnership with IMT Service & Operation team.
Ensure a region’s compliance to corporate IT standards and policies to enable consistent IT support as well as reduce IT costs and risks.
Provide input to the improvement of policy, procedures and guidelines to improve overall IT productivity.
Coordinate major project rollout affecting a region by working with relevant Project teams and key stakeholders in the region as and when required.
Collate relevant local information of the region and provide input to Project teams to facilitate project planning and implementation as and when required.
Manage any new business requirement within a region by working with the appropriate IM solution centre teams to capture, prioritise and fulfil the requirements, including the establishment of new outports, relocation, remediation or other changes to existing outports.
Identify ways to improve a region’s operation through the deployment of IT and provide relevant inputs to IM head office teams.
Act as the escalation point for a region’s users when it comes to urgent and severe issues that are not timely attended by IM Service Centre (this is only transitional and can be phased out over time).
To ensure that the outport business units receive the appropriate level of service from IT in respect to outport standard operations and project delivery.
Facilitate as required with the relevant business units and IT departments to improve operational performance and align priorities.
Champion a culture of customer orientated service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction across outport business units and internal support teams.
Identify opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve the operational performance across Information Management Technology (IMT) by cultivating a relationship with open communications channels with the Regional General Managers and outport business management teams.
To ensure that the outport support matrix is aligned within the overall IT budget and monitored to highlight any discrepancies.
To assist as / if required in maintaining the outport financial accounts for your region and to ensure they are managed in accordance with financial procedures and to report the operational cost monthly.
To undertake adhoc projects as and when required as dictated.
Review and report on IT performance ensuring that issues are resolved, and those risks are adequately understood and addressed.
Work with the various IT and business forums as defined by IMT management to communicate and represent relevant information about outport operations to all levels of the business.
To champion the “voice of the customer” within IT.
Assist, as required, the outport Business Units to develop business cases for IT investments and to realize the benefits of these investments.
Optimise IT operating expenses for the outport Business Units and internal outport departments.
As required, ensure that the IT Infrastructure and Operations leadership team and the Head of Infrastructure and Operations are promptly notified of any major issues arising from the service provided to outports.
Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables.
Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
Works closely with project teams to ensure that outport project related matters are effectively managed to ensure optimal project delivery to remote offices.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are effective and efficient and to ensure that outport offices receive the highest possible quality of service.
Communicates our client goals and represent the Regional General Managers interests.
Provides regular two-way communication between the client and outport operational and project delivery teams, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
Provides regular input on all outport operational and project activities, including status and call reports on a weekly / monthly basis. Meeting Targets - Achieve Individual & team revenue and service targets

Being business process focused, proactive and result-oriented with the ability to satisfy our internal customer expectations despite the dynamic business environment and changing user demands.
Proven relationship management skills with senior business unit managers and IT staff and an ability to communicate both at the business level and with senior IT staff.
Each Regional IT Coordinator will be rotated into IM head office in Hong Kong for up to 4 weeks in the first year and then up to 2 weeks annually to familiarise themselves with IM operations.
Willing and able to travel, including but not limited to the office locations in the responsible region and as required head office, Hong Kong.
Prior experience or involvement in IT support and/or project is required with a good technical understanding.
A team player and communicator with fluent English language capabilities. At times the role will also require the individual to work independently with minimum supervision
A proven track record as a Team player & customer (external & internal) focus.
Action oriented & ability to work with limited resources to achieve the company goals.
Display strong interpersonal skills with all levels within the organization.
Ability to be creative & innovative to improve current work practices and implement new ideas.
Strong Planning & Organizational skills with an ability to prioritize as per the need of the hour.

Candidates MUST have the permanent legal right to work & live in India.


Qualifications :

Graduate in any field. Computer Science preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of networks.
CCNA, MCSE, PMP preferred.
Minimum 5 years work experience.
