Location : San Francisco, California

Reports To : Marketing Services Supervisor



Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate various sales promotional efforts – developing PowerPoint presentations, flyer, promotional items, brochures

· Assist with the planning and execution of all tradeshows and special events

· Assist with internal communications strategy and execution

· Liaise with third parties, such as hotels and tourism boards

· Administrative duties including processing vendor invoices, liaising with prize winners and coordination of travel itineraries

· Coordination of Marketing and PR sweepstakes and promotions

· Assist with planning North America loyalty marketing initiatives and partner promotions, including Asia Miles offers, partnerships and member recruitment

· Administer the “Miles for Me” program to travel agents, including website maintenance and responding to online inquiries

· Assist with organizing Marco Polo Club recognition events and initiatives

· Support marketing and PR initiatives, including Cathay Pacific sponsored events, community relations and PR projects

· Assist with media relations, including media travel arrangements, responding to incoming press inquiries and some proactive pitching

· Compile press coverage reports

· Writing and editing internal/external communications materials, such as press releases and company newsletters

· Assist with corporate social responsibility programs

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience preferred

· Strong consumer copywriting background preferred

· 1-2 years marketing / PR experience preferred

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills. Proactive self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a group

· Strong analytical skills, with emphasis on data analysis

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines

· Highly detail-oriented, organized and resourceful

· Knowledge of US media

· Creative and innovative thinker

· Travel industry experience is a plus

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
