Description:

Location/Base : San Francisco, California

Reports To : Senior Vice President, Americas



Key Responsibilities:

· Manage a CX airports team in an online station in a very challenging environment

· Ensure that overall airports operations meet CX’s standard, policies and procedures, satisfy local and international safety and security standards and confirm with aviation regulatory requirements

· Be visible to ensure that both CX staff and Handling Agents consistently provide the highest level of CX’s customer services standard.

· Lead, motivate and create an enjoyable working environment that promotes and cultivates changes and openness within the team.

· Be accountable for managing the station’s budget and operating costs.

· Manage the Handling Agents and Service Suppliers to ensure that they deliver services and products as stipulated in the contract and in the performance assessment document.

· Work with oneworld partner airlines to ensure consistent delivery of all requirements stipulated by oneworld.

· Represent CX by participating in airport-related committees and activities

· Seek opportunities to improve operations, business processes, information technology, resource management, and administration

· Plan and focus on key priorities

· Manage difficult situations and resources effectively

· Manage an airport function consistent with Company business needs and strategy

· Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation, safety, security and local laws.

· Manage local E&A activities

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

· Previous management experience at on-line airports an advantage

· At least 5+ years station management experience preferably with international services

· Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets

· Excellent leadership, time management and communication skills

· Good planning and organizing abilities

· Excellent decision making capabilities

· Ability to be creative to seek opportunities to make improvements

· Ability to apply skills and knowledge so as to effectively and spontaneously manage and oversee the airport operations

· Weekend and shift duties required
