Description:

Responsible for managing and monitoring post conditional job offer hiring process components governed by federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include daily oversight and management of pre-employment background checks, criminal history records checks, and I-9/E-Verify, to include auditing associated policies, processes, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and the utilization of effective business processes.
Responsible for ensuring corporate compliance with federal, state, and local Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity related laws and regulations, including developing and implementing the federally required Affirmative Action Program; conducting OFCCP and other government agency audit preparation and compliance reviews; handling internal requests for EEO data and reports; as well as conducting statistical and other required reporting for federal, state, and local agencies.
Responsible for monitoring and evaluating all aspects of selection processes, from a compliance perspective, to include reviewing job analyses and validation studies.
Responsible for developing and implementing measures for conducting internal audits of staffing and employment processes, including process mapping, data analysis, and formulating recommended solutions.
Responsible for leading and managing staff performing the day to day activities associated with post conditional job offer hiring process components governed by federal, state, and local regulations.
Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Requirements:

Bachelors level degree required. A concentration in HR or I/O Psychology strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years' experience with AAP/OFCCP compliance, including experience with OFCCP audits, AAP development and implementation, and federal contractor required reporting (including federal, state, and local).
Minimum of 4 years' experience with employment compliance processes, including analysis and validation of selection processes, pre-employment background checks, criminal history records checks, and I-9/E-Verify.
Prior Supervisory experience required.
Must have proficient knowledge of and practical experience with employment compliance laws and regulations, including but not limited to EO11246, VEVRAA, Section 503, and UGESP.
Must be able to manage multifaceted projects simultaneously in conjunction with performing day to day activities with minimal direction.
Must be able to analyze data, form conclusions, and propose recommendations and prepare written executive decks.
Must have strong writing skills and experience with writing executive decks.
Must be able to lead, direct, and manage direct reports including performance management of day to day activities, and team/individual development.
Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work without close supervision, as well as the ability to work under pressure on multi-tasked projects with strict time constraints.
Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, investigative, coaching, and facilitation skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of management within the company, as well as various organizations and agencies external to Delta.
A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality is required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS OfficeOutlook, and MS PowerPoint.
Able to travel, as needed, including overnight trips.
