Responsibilities:

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

Serves as the focal point for gathering requirements, designing, and scheduling reports.
Proactively looks for ways to improve current reporting and automation procedures.
Performs periodic, ad hoc queries as needed by the business.
Participates in special projects involving initiatives with the business, specifically with our Technology group when needed.
Ensures high-quality, daily deliverables by monitoring and communicating issues with our Customers and our Technology group in a timely manner.
Assists team with testing and authoring solutions when needed.
Serves as lead/owner for report publications and daily automation jobs.

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.



May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Three or more years of broad-based relevant business experience, specifically in the areas of data aggregation, analysis, and reporting required.
Three or more years’ experience writing SQL against enterprise databases (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, Sybase) required.
Three or more years’ experience with an enterprise business intelligence platform (e.g. Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services) required.
Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel (e.g. macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables) required.
Three or more years’ experience writing automated solutions in a scripting language (e.g. VB Script, VBA) preferred.
Previous experience in data mining, grooming, and aggregation from multiple sources preferred.
Strong math and statistical skills preferred.

Proficiency and extensive use of spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, and database software.
Possess strong problem solving skills.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Must possess strong task organization skills.
Self-motivated and ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Maintain high quality even in complex situations with tight deadlines.
Familiarity with relational database concepts.
Ability to analyze technical issues, find root cause, and recommend alternative solutions.
Work well with people at all levels of the organization.
Work well under pressure while performing multiple concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions.
Perform job functions with limited supervision.
Demonstrate initiative and possess the willingness and skills to adapt and change as technology/processes change.     

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to work extended hours as necessary to complete deliverables.
Must be able to travel to meet the requirements of the position.
Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information.

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
