Description:

The Senior Analyst, Customer Research & Insights will work with the customer research and insights team on the development, implementation and reporting of qualitative and quantitative market research projects.
The individual will need to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment and will be expected to possess advanced knowledge in the following areas:
Quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies
Ability to analyze market research data and produce actionable reports
Support Delta's brand tracking research program, including questionnaire development, database management, and reporting and action items
Support Delta customer satisfaction program, including data collection, analysis and reporting
Effectively support the team in managing research activities including recruitment, survey and discussion guide development, analysis and reporting
Analyze secondary and existing research to support ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders
Organization of research results to facilitate easy access to the rest of the organization
Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple project requests simultaneously. Individual should possess the ability to resolve problems in a calm and quick manner and should display a high degree of initiative and drive.

Position will report to the Manager, Customer Research & Insights

Requirements:

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, with major in Statistics, Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Economics or related field preferred;
Master's degree, MBA or MMR or 3+ years proven experience in data analysis or market research
Must have superior analytical skills and be fluent in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
SAS/SPSS/SQL/JMP programming experience and knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Studio and data visualization tools such as Tableau a plus
Previous research or analytic experience in an airline or travel industry environment is highly desired, or experience within transportation, services or durables customer analytics and/or marketing research.
Should have strong written and oral communication skills, be a solid team player and possess strong planning skills
