Description:

This Records Analyst position is responsible for maintaining accurate engine, APU and land gear records as well as conducting ongoing reviews of engine, APU and landing gear records. This individual will maintain accurate and complete compliance information for powerplant, APU, and landing gear airworthiness directives. They will also maintain record and time standards of time controlled items related to the engine, APU and landing gear. The essential functions of this position are, but not limited to, the following:



· 30% of each day analyzing engine trends, time controlled components and up dating maintenance database.

· 30% of each day analyzing landing gear components and updating maintenance database.

· 20 % of each day spent reading and interrupting technical data and inputting in maintenance database as required.

· 10 % of each day analyzing APU engine trends and time controlled components along with updating maintenance database.

· 10 % of each day preparing reports for other department requiring either engines, APU, and landing gear.

· Able to interrupt technical data and relate to engine, APU and landing gear systems.

· Understanding of different engine, APU, and landing gear sub components.

Requirements:

Qualifications:



· High school diploma or G.E.D at a minimum.

· Enrolled in a current A&P program or A&P licensed preferred.

· 4 years of aircraft related work desired.

· Previous experience with engines, APUs, or landing gear preferred.

· Previous aircraft records experience preferred.

· Able to intrepid technical data is a must.





Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



· Aircraft engine, APU and landing gear knowledge.

· Able to work in a fast changing environment.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Good mathematical and writing skills required.

· Able to set work priorities, self-starter and able to handle work priority change on a daily basis.

· Good organizational skills required.

· Computer and 10 key skills required
