Description:

We’re looking to hire Social Media Team Leader to lead Ryanair’s social media team.

As part of a small but growing team, you will be heavily involved in the implementation of Ryanair’s social media strategy across various channels and markets.

Reporting to the Head of Communication’s, the successful candidate will work closely with our PR, Brand, Digital Marketing and Content teams to ensure we promote our brand effectively through social media channels across Europe and proactively assist our customers through social listening; and social engagement.

Working closely with the Head of Communications on developing Ryanair’s presence across multiple social media platforms.

Areas of responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- manage a team of social media executives

- developing a strong social media strategy for all of the Ryanair markets

- the facilitation of content across the multiple platforms

- developing topical and relevant content across the Ryanair markets

- delivering a brand-building content plan

- overseeing the management of social media properties across the Ryanair markets

- managing social media budgets

- delivering consumer insights from social media

- building organic and paid social media campaigns on social networks across all Ryanair markets

- continuously developing social media processes to complete the day to day activities

- key point of contact with internal teams and external providers

- building strong relationships with partners to create effective content for target audiences

- optimizing new & existing campaigns to achieve CPAs within target

- establishing a conversion strategy from fans/followers to customers

- maintaining relationships with external suppliers/agencies

- distributing weekly and monthly performance reporting

- sustain brand consistency of tone of voice across all social platforms.

Requirements:

You’ve got a key interest in Social Media with a strong desire to acquire experience working in a fast pace, enjoyable working environment.
An ability to think quickly, work as part of a team, multitask and think outside the box is essential.

Customer communication experience and a second or third language is an advantage, but not essential.

Experience working with multiple social platforms (as opposed to exclusive experience in one) with a B2C company preferable.

Excellent communication and written skills

Evidence of your social media activity

Professional interest in the online travel sector; and a passion to build the Ryanair brand.
