Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for revenue generation and performance of the SLC National Sales District representing corporate and agency revenue of almost $300M. Leads, manages and develops the district sales team of sale account executives with corporate, agency and franchise accounts in SLC, DEN and PDX and WY. Drives strategic planning and business development to produce additional incremental revenue. Formulates and implements market-by-market domestic and international sales strategies and tactics with sales team to drive significant revenue and market share increases and achieve performance goals and objectives. Emphasis is placed on premium revenue and share. Identifies and prioritizes strategic partnerships of new and existing business partners. Builds and maintains executive-level business relationships as a co-owner of key corporate and agency accounts with sales team. Manages negotiations of co-owned accounts and oversees development, negotiations, implementation and performance of all district agreements. Establishes district sales objectives (market-by-market) based upon, and in support of, departmental and corporate goals. Manages team-building environment. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, directing, coaching, developing, and motivating a diverse sales team with varying levels of experience and skills. Maintains on-going cross-departmental working relationships across National and Global Accounts-Corporate and Agency Sales Development, Inside Sales, Specialty Sales, Sales Support Center and corporate office staff. Aligns sales territories and potential with staff skills sets, strengths and experience levels. Creates self-motivated, highly-skilled sales force by facilitating staff self-improvement and development, using joint sales calls, presentations, coaching, counseling and mentoring. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Requirements:

Job Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years airline sales experience. Minimum 1 year previous people management experience required. BA/BS degree required. Ability to lead teams in the selection of opportunities within account portfolios and prefer the ability to build action plans to meet sales goals. Must be detail-oriented, proven analytical and communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Ability to meet deadlines, service level commitments, and handle multiple tasks.

Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
