Your new position will see you partner with the business to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within Customer Experience, Operations and workforce planning. With a commercial leadership focus this role will ensure the appropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to meet the BU requirements and targets.

You will have dual responsibilities for the finance business partnering or domestic airports above the wing and below the wing as well as the commercial function (third party ground handling revenue management);

Manage the airports business partnering and commercial functions (3 x Direct Reports)
Provide strong finance business partnering to the Heads of Airports and their collective management teams
Work with the Head of Airport Services to drive national transformation both above and below the wing
Deliver proactive commercial insight and strategic support to all Airport functions including proposals/recommendations on opportunities for cost saving and revenue growth
Maintain overall accountability for month end result, transformation pipeline, budgeting and forecasting position.
Identify gaps to target and drive business performance with the relevant functional heads
Formulate a strategy across Customer Experience for all intra-group and external client revenue opportunities
Influence key stakeholders; CEO QLink, CE Executive Manager, CFO and Jetstar to ensure an optimised financial position for the group
Lead all commercial RFP processes and negotiations with intra group and external clients seeking input from SME's where necessary
Delivery of internal/external benchmarking & ongoing performance assessment against key competitors
Support key strategic initiatives such as EBA negotiations providing the financial modelling to drive decision making
Manage the review of capital and operational expenditure proposals ensuring all strategic, operational and financial considerations have been taken into account and the recommendation is optimal for the business.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the end to end finance function and drive a seamless/collaborative relationship with CoFE

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will display

Financial acumen typically gained through CPA/CA/equivalent
Graduate degree in relevant discipline (preferably in finance) with 5 - 8 years relevant experience
Own and develop relationships in the business in order to support business outcomes
Develop networks within and outside the Finance Community and outside of own Business Unit
Demonstrated high level consultation, negotiation and interpersonal skills used to consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Well-developed strategic business partnering skills within a large organisation
Strong influencing, leadership and decision making skills
Proven record in financial analysis and business case development
Highly self-motivated with an ability to work independently while also functioning within a team
Demonstrated management skills with a commitment to continuous development and improvement in both self and subordinates
