What will I do day to day?

Represent Qantas in a professional manner, supporting colleagues and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers
Proactively greet customers on arrival at the airport and enthusiastically assist the Check in process for Qantas and client airlines customers in both our domestic and international airports
Assist customers with boarding and disembarking information, including checking correct documentation
Assist customers with special needs including mobility support, ensuring discretion and personal integrity
Co-operate with other team members and departments for the benefit of the customer
Provide consistent and excellent customer service by being informative and taking ownership of problems

Requirements:

What we're looking for:

Recent face to face customer service experience
A passion for Customer Service with a proactive 'can do' positive attitude
Exceptional customer service focus with a proven ability to manage and diffuse difficult situations
Compassion and empathy for special needs customers
Well-developed problem solving skills and able to follow through to resolution
Strong verbal communication skills within a high volume, demanding, ever changing environment
Strong listening skills
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Ability to succeed in a fast paced operational environment
Ability to work either on a temporary or permanent basis on a 7 day rotational shift roster
Exceptional standard of personal presentation
Ability to assist customers with personal items / baggage within established OH&S guidelines
