Description:

To manage the Emirates lounge at Los Angeles Airport.
Plan daily individual workload to ensure optimum use of resources of the Emirates Team.
Supervise the Lounge Agents ensuring they undertake their tasks in an efficient and professional manner.
To be able to work under pressure during a disruption to ensure the highest possible Customer Service is delivered.
Respond to queries, complaints in an efficient and timely manner in order to restore passenger confidence.
To ensure the service delivered by all Service Providers and staff is efficient, professional and to the highest possible standard, and that all suppliers are fully briefed regarding EK requirements ensuring our passengers expectations are met or exceeded.
Control catering uplifts and expenditure in order to minimise waste and unnecessary costs while still meeting our passengers expectations
Compile daily statistics, including Passenger Trends/Meal wastage, forming order to compile monthly report for the Airport Services Manager.
Undertake various administration functions as required including appraisals.
Undertake other duties as directed from time to time by the Airport Services Manager or Airport Services Officer on duty in order to meet the needs of the operation.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience


Educated to a High School level standard or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Airline Customer Service (preferably with airport experience) with at least two years’ experience as a Senior Airport Services Agent with proven supervisory skills
Must have good interpersonal skills and a pleasant outgoing personality.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Must have completed relevant professional training courses (Advanced courses in Passenger Services, basic courses in Reservations/Ticketing). As well as Excel and Word.
Should have a working knowledge of Departure Control Systems (DCS)
Fluent spoken and written English, second language advantageous.
