Description:

Analyse work requests from customers and make preparations for each assigned maintenance project
Responsible for the establishment and compilation and delivery of a fully engineered work pack
Analyse maintenance project data to identify trends and deficiencies and propose relevant resolution process to the supervisor for consideration
Liaise effectively with the various departments i.e. Finance, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality Departments to coordinate the requirements for internal and external support to ensure the successful completion of each maintenance project
Liaise with OEM/ external contractors for the conduct of each maintenance project
Identify warranty and program eligible work, update the work pack accordingly, submit and track warranty claims
Make materials requests for parts and special tooling in consultation with the engineers through the Supply Chain Dept. The process should be initiated before the aircraft arrival for major components to ensure minimum downtime
Generate maintenance tasks cards to assist the engineers/ technicians in the maintenance project
Responsible to plan, inform or coordinate the availability of all necessary personnel, tools, equipment, materials, maintenance data and facilities to ensure the timely and safe completion of maintenance work
Monitor the project status and engage the engineers and technicians to ensure proper completion
Liaise with the customer to ensure that their needs and requirements are met.
Communicate and coordinate any changes in requirements to the various department functions.
Update all relevant departments and customers about the various phases of the maintenance project and co-ordinate the various critical activities such as but not limited to aircraft towing, daily status, delays, part issues, and payment for project completion.
Oversee the preparation of aircraft maintenance log book statement and check that the task cards are captured with signatures and stamps.
Ensure that work instructions are issued as per customer’s request and/or standard procedures that define maintenance tasks and work scope.
Ensure that all work instructions documentations for maintenance project complies with the MOE and relevant authorities and updates of data are entered into the project maintenance system and catalogue records for the various projects effectively and efficiently.
Initiate pre-invoices and ensure the accuracy of such in consultation with various departments, i.e., Maintenance and Supply Chain. This includes but is not limited to aircraft spares and parts, labour hours and invoice payment.
Work in repetitive duty planning cycle afterhours and on weekends as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience:

Diploma or above in Aerospace Studies/Air Transport Management/Aerospace Engineering, preferably withPostgraduate Certificate in Aerospace Maintenance and/or EASA 145 certification planning
Accreditation with relevant professional agencies, such as Project Management Institute an advantage
At least 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance project administration or planning capacity
Established network with OEMs such as Gulfstream or Bombardier is a plus
Proficient in MS Office
Mature disposition with a keen business perspective in customer communications and relations
