Responsibilities:

WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

Experienced in stockroom procedures and stores functions
Identify wizard system discrepancies
Ttroubleshoot stockroom problems associated with issuing, shipping, receiving, stocking, material handling of parts and equipment.
Must be able to interact with a variety of associates from different departments at varying levels of responsibility and initiate recommendations for actionable business work plans.
Must possess the ability to evaluate problem situations, construct and initiate recommendations, and execute the movement of materials in a timely manner;
Basic knowledge of purchasing parts and coordinating with Quality Control on timely movement of parts through the inspection process.
Basic knowledge of the Vendor Repair Department, cutting repair orders for parts, and expediting critical parts back into stock.
Knowledgeable of basic AOG Desk functions, duties and assist when necessary.
Administer the movement of all parts and supplies to outstations as well as coordinate the shipment of all parts for special projects and contracts.
Familiar with the loaning and borrowing of parts with other airlines as well as the Loan and Borrow process, i.e., invoicing other airlines, approve payment for borrowed parts, etc.
Coordinate special freight movements, i.e., dedicated truck for aircraft engine movement, LTL shipments, etc.
Basic knowledge Tooling and Test Equipment, monitoring cost and replacement of repairs on tooling, ensure accuracy and timely calibration of all SWA tooling and test equipment.
Material Field Service Coordinator for heavy aircraft performed at contract facilities.

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

College graduate preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

3-5 year background in aviation, business, engineering, logistics, and supply chain in general professional applied experience.
2-3 years Stores Stock Clerk experience preferred.
Experience working with union employees and union contract a plus.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

Airframe and Power Plant License preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Must be a very good thinker, innovative with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and is comfortable working in a team environment.
Must have a strong customer service approach focused on continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under tight time constraints to accomplish assignments and projects, posses strong organizations skills and have strong written and verbal skills.
Must have a strong positive attitude with the ability to motivate others using a team concept.
Must have exceptional personal computer skills and well versed on multiple PC applications as well as the ability to read and interpret Illustrated Parts Catalog and Government Rules and Regulations. T
Must have the ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a timely manner, coordinate and communicate with multiple departments on parts movement throughout the system.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:



Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
