The Program Manager - International CGO Field Operations supports the development and implementation of strategic and critical CGO field operations programs, corporate and divisional initiatives and projects. This position has the responsibility for the coordination for development, implementation, measurement and tracking Atlantic, LACC and Pacific Cargo performance against goals (KPI), and follows up on cargo-related initiatives/tasks. This position manages projects and activities to ensure defined business process solutions or improvements are delivered on time, within scope, and are consistent with the approved financial goals. Identifies process improvement opportunities, business needs, and assists in establishing project priorities. Monitors the progress of multiple projects in different countries and intervenes when appropriate to ensure success. Develops and maintains knowledge of CGO field operations processes, goals, and objectives as well as program applicability in foreign countries. Actively participates in the establishment of project priorities to drive a centralized vision. Provides support to ACS Field Directors in managing the various activities involving their stations and serves as the primary interface with ACS Field Directors in communications with stations, including follow-up on special initiatives and focus areas. Manages and leads special projects as requested by Manager and Field Directors. Collaborates on a frequent basis as the subject matter expert in Intl Cargo with regional Program Managers, ACS Field Support, and Cargo. The Program Manager is responsible for consistently practicing safety-conscious behavior in all operational processes and procedures as well as ensuring outstations strongly support all safety, security and other regulatory compliance.


The Program Manager - International CGO Field Operations requires a four-year degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field, with Master's degree preferred or minimum of three (3) years job related experience. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in key Microsoft products; such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and possess experience in creating executive communications or presentations. Proven experience in change management and process improvement is a must. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive solutions in the absence of readily available data required. Must have excellent analytical skills and able to handle multiple tasks in a demanding fast-paced environment. Must be able to plan and adjust to the business climate and must demonstrate positive principles for service. Must be a skillful influencer; with tangible knowledge of the cultural differences, and posses the ability to interface across all levels of the organization. Must be able to create and implement initiatives, alternatives, and have the confidence to challenge status-quo. Must be an effective decision maker and model Delta's vision and standards Must be willing and able to work with diverse cultures. Must be willing to travel internationally up to 50% of the time. Knowledge of Delta's Cargo processes, models and products is desirable. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
