About the Job

Air Arabia is looking for a dynamic target driven individual to join its Commercial team as Manager Holidays. In this role, the job holder is responsible for establishing, leading and directing the business unit to achieve the agreed commercial goals and objectives in line with Company policies. The job holder will need to identify and exploit all commercial opportunities to continuously develop and grow the business.

Key Accountabilities:

Oversee and manage the set-up of the business unit and associated processes including the development and implementation of a reservation system to sell holidays to Business to Business (B2B) & Business to Consumer (B2C) customers.
Liaise with different stakeholders to create a long term business plan in line with the agreed commercial goals and objectives.
Liaise with different stakeholders to prepare the annual business unit budget for incorporation to the ABY master budget.
Lead and direct the creation, marketing, sale, operation and continuous development of all ABY Holidays products and deliver as per agreed timelines while keeping costs stable.
Ensure revenue/volume targets are met and quality standards maintained while progressively growing the operation to increase market penetration to become a major force in the UAE outbound/inbound leisure travel market segments.
Lead and implement all projects related to enhancements and upgrades to the reservation system to ensure it is in-line with the latest e-commerce trends.
Negotiate contracts with Hotels, Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and activity suppliers to create holiday products (fixed departures, dynamic packaging…) outbound and inbound in the relevant markets.
Ensure the operations of ABY Holidays and its outstations and implants are run with the highest quality of service to customers and in line with the company policies and procedures achieving an error free operation.
Integration of ABY Holidays into all existing /new ABY Sales channels.
Oversee the negotiation of all air/ground holiday product content, playing a direct role where necessary, to ensure that the best available rates, terms and capacity access are negotiated for ABY Holidays.
Provide leadership and direction to all ABY Holidays associated staff ensuring that individual performance is optimized via enablement, support and coaching.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be educated to a minimum of Bachelor's degree level
A minimum of 5 years' of experience in a management role in a major international airline/Online Travel Agency/travel company handling holiday products.
Must have a good experience managing all aspects of the systems used to package and sell holiday products to both B2C and B2B customers.
Must be results oriented with a strong commercial acumen, good analytical skills and excellent communication skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Arabic would be an advantage.
PC Literate and well versed in MS Office Suite with an excellent command of Excel / Google office applications
