As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you will perform aircraft maintenance and servicing on the QantasLink Dash 8 and 717 aircraft fleet. Positioned within the QantasLink Maintenance business unit, this role will see you working with a range of specialist teams in the most advanced aircraft facilities in the southern hemisphere, enabling you to provide world class engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Performing rectification, servicing and maintenance of the QantasLink fleet and client airlines aircraft and equipment;
Completing all documentation and reporting requirements in accordance with Company policy;
Ensuring your contribution allows our performance to meet / or exceed customer expectations;
Complying with Service and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

Completion of relevant apprenticeship and hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Trade Certificate (Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Mechanical, Avionics or Structures.)
Aircraft servicing experience on various aircraft in a Base or Line maintenance environment
Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures
Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Ability to work shift work
Commitment to being a highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
Sound communications skills, both written and verbal with highly developed attention to detail
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well within timelines and with minimal supervision with a positive attitude.
