As the Training Specialist for Qantas Assure, you will be responsible for the successful formulation and development of training activities, materials and assessment tools in line with the business need, as well as delivering training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at an optimal level.

Your key accountabilities in this role will include:

Work with the Assure Leadership team to formulate training needs analyses
Design and develop best practice training programs that meet regulatory and business outcomes
Deliver training to staff, including delivering new staff Inductions, creating a positive learning environment
Lead, plan and support the implementation of the contact centre knowledge management strategy
Maintain training materials and manuals, ensuring employee progress, assessment & outcomes are recorded
Keep up to date with training trends in the market to identify opportunities
to improve training programs and delivery methods

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you will bring the following:

Extensive prior experience designing and delivering training for a complex, operational organisation (eg. contact centre, sales or service centre)
Relevant qualifications eg Cert IV in Training & Assessment
Demonstrated understanding of adult learning styles and principles
Prior experience working in a contact centre will be highly regarded
Prior experience within the insurance industry desireable
An understanding of knowledge management practices will be highly regarded
