Description:

We have approximately forty million visitors a month to our web sites from across Europe. Slight changes in conversion rates make a big difference and it is critical that everything that we want to measure on the site and app is tagged correctly. In this role you will work within the Insight team that supports Marketing and Digital Experience. This role is critical for the business to help identify and communicate insight that can help improve web conversion


Experience/Responsibilities

Graduate or second-jobber working on website analytics in an online environment. Ecommerce, retail or travel sector experience would be ideal
Responsible for ensuring data is captured correctly across web properties – work closely with the tagging team to define tagging requirements and QA tagging implementation. Become the expert in our Site analytics tool in terms of how to use it and what is stored in it.
Work closely with product teams to help use data to inform product design and ensure correct tagging is in place to analyse performance
Involved in the delivery of insight and reporting on a daily and weekly basis to various teams throughout the business
Involved in the evaluation of marketing actions and longer term plans in each market, working closely with the brand comms and market sales & marketing teams to fully understand what actions are taking place in each market and other factors affecting them.
Work closely with the customer analytics and market research areas of the insight team to generate joined-up insights that result in the right changes being made to the customer experience.
Collaborate with other teams within the business to help support their data and insight requirements
Strong communications skills with the proven ability to derive insight from data and communicate clearly to different roles across the business
Numerate, with excellent experience in one or more web analytics tools - likely you held a similar role in a large company

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Knowledgeable on a standard industry web analytics tools e.g. Adobe, Google Analytics, Coremetrics etc. (ideally within online ecommerce)
Experience with tag management is an advantage
Experience in other areas of marketing sciences such as A/B and MVT testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
3+ years using the Microsoft office suite with very strong excel skills
Usage of advanced reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau) & query languages (e.g. SQL) would be an advantage
An understanding of SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC and SEO strategies and measurement is an advantage
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex data scenarios to non-technical people
Attention to detail and good time management and prioritization skills a must
