Reports to: Mobile Development Lead

The innovation centre is a newly established team within Cathay Pacific's IT division. The team will focus on researching, introducing and delivering new technologies into Cathay Pacific's business and IT environment, with initial focus on web and mobile solutions.

Team will focus on two major areas 1) Designing, building and delivering B2C, B2E and B2B mobile applications 2) Prototyping mobile applications

As a senior mobile developer you will work with a very energetic team to design, build,test and deploy mobile applications and prototypes using Agile methodologies and mentor mobile developers.

Key responsibilites:

Designing, building, testing and deploying mobile application and/or prototype following best practices
Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
Own the delivery of an entire piece of mobile application and prototypes serve as technical lead and mentor mobile developers
Will work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype and evaluate technical feasibility.
Design and define the interactions between various systems or components
Assist for creating appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development, of which 2-5 years involved in mobile software development using Scrum/Agile methodologies
Bachelor's (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical disciplines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player
Familiarity with common mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, and mobile web
Experience in SOA, as well as Java, JavaScript and JQuery programming skills
Experience in cross platform mobile app development to cater to iOS & Android
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operation
Experience in cross compiling application development platforms such as Kony (preferred, however not a must)
