We are seeking a service-oriented individual to join the Payroll section of our Financial Services Department. As an Accounting Officer, your core responsibility is to carry out payroll processing and to provide general accounting and administrative support to the team.


Responsibilities:

•ensure salary and allowances are paid to the staff members correctly and timely and handle payment rejection
•handle various staff retirement fund contribution report analysis and payment
•manage tax withhold for staff
•handle staff housing benefit payment and related tax return reporting
•manage staff termination and transferring processes
•report/prepare/amend tax return to IRD and answer queries accordingly
•answer queries from staff and perform general accounting works

Requirements:

Job Requirements :

•HKDSE: Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 NSS subjects including English Language (“attained” for ApL subjects or Grade E for other language subjects) OR
HKCEE: Minimum of Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects (including Level 2 or above in English Language), or equivalent
•LCCI intermediate or above in accounting is preferable
•Minimum least 1 year's relevant experience with basic accounting knowledge
•good command of spoken English
•good computer skills in MS office (e.g. Excel, MS Word)
•customer-oriented with polished interpersonal and communication skills
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
