To help achieve our objectives and to cope with our rapid fleet and business expansion, we are inviting high calibre individuals with a strong and solid aviation technical background to join our renowned Hong Kong based Engineering Team.

The Maintenance Program Team (MPT) within technical services is a relatively new team. Reporting to our Maintenance Program Manager, the Senior Technical Services Engineer will lead a fleet team and expected to apply technical experience, knowledge and insight to develop and maintain effective and applicable maintenance programs for the Cathay Pacific (CX), Dragonair (KA) and Air Hong Kong (LD) fleets that meet the highest safety, compliance and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

•Accountable for the assigned fleet of CX/KA/LD maintenance programs
•Through Aircraft Maintenance Schedule (AMS) review / optimization, reliability monitoring processes and safe guarding maintenance standards, ensure the maintenance program is applicable and effective
•Ensure consistency across fleets through maintenance program policy setting and in-house technical proposal governance
•Oversees end to end management of the assigned CX/KA/LD AMS
•Responsible for OEM Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) review and coordination
•Conduct Airworthiness Directives (AD) assessment review and compliance mechanism implementation
•Chair and steer fleet level CX AMS meetings (internal and external)
•Evaluate AMS amendment proposal dossiers
•Identify key maintenance burden for the maintenance programs
•Lead and co-ordinate check / task level optimization processes to reduce overall maintenance burden
•Represent MPT to lead AMS program level investigations and corrective action implementation (through MOR/RAR/OAR)
•Management and development of NRC analytics system
•Development of cost data for AMS tasks
•Development and management of “dashboard” for AMS tasks
•Manage interface with Maintenance Program Implementation team and wider CX Engineering team
•Engage in key industry leading working groups such as Industry Steering Committee (ISC) and Maintenance Working Group (MWG) to steer desired outcomes for CX/KA/LD
•Provide technical expertise on maintenance program related topics for department or company initiatives
•Visit and engage with key Maintenance Repair Organizations (MRO)
•Lead, manage and develop Maintenance Program Engineers and other junior staff to ensure that they understand and follow company and legislative requirements, procedures and processes
•Support and stand in for Maintenance Program Manager, as required
