To help achieve our objectives and to cope with our rapid fleet and business expansion, we are inviting high calibre individuals with a strong and solid aviation technical background to join our renowned Hong Kong based Engineering Team.

The Engineering Cost Management and Business Improvement section within Cathay Engineering is responsible for ongoing cost/budget management and financial operation on a day-to-day basis. We also support the exploration of new business improvement opportunities amongst different business units and drive them for changes towards better practices.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated experienced professional to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Finance Control Manager, you as an Engineering Financial Analyst will manage day-to-day engineering accounting operation; oversee invoice and payment process and responsible to provide accurate financial data to support monthly reporting and management decision.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the financial management team on day to day operations
Manage the Component Accounting Program
Capture cost saving initiative (e.g. early payment discount & volume incentive rebate)
Achieve operation efficiency (e.g. streamline invoice/payment process & explore EDI opportunity)
Reduce and prevent future cost through tight vendor compliance and performance review
Ensure financial data are linked and tracked back to projects
Participate in the development and integration of internal ERP and Corporate ERP
Ad hoc projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

Job Requirements :

Degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting. Designated CMA/CIMA is preferable
Minimum 5 years experience in management accounting field including 2 years in supervisory role
Good command of spoken and written English
Advance level of proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Access
ERP experience is essential
Experience in project management & database management would be an added advantage
Good planning and organizing skills
Able to resolve issues independently and make sound decision under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with all levels of parties throughout the organization, both internal and external
