Reports To: Manager, Lean Programmes

Cathay Pacific consists of a variety of departments and each plays an essential role in supporting the strategic initiatives and operations of the airline. We are now looking for a self-motivated, analytical individual with strong communication and facilitation skills to drive a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus and lasting process excellence throughout the company. The scope of our Lean programmes would include subsidiary companies of Cathay Pacific.

As the Lean Programme Manager, your key accountabilities include:

Work closely with the Manager, Lean Programmes to develop plans to drive and foster the continuous improvement practice/behavior throughout the Company
Champion change, challenge current processes and ways of working and collaborate with peers to deliver more efficient and effective solutions in the assigned area
Lead and coach cross-functional colleagues in the delivery of Lean projects to drive for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness
Coordinate a robust review process for selecting, scoping and prioritizing Lean projects
Facilitate multiple Lean projects with proper monitoring and measuring method
Conduct regular review/audit of all ongoing Lean projects with Leadership team
Assist in developing Lean strategies for the company to establish continuous improvement culture

Requirements:

Job Requirements :

A degree in any Engineering, Quality Management or Science disciplines
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in managing Lean or process improvement projects; previous exposure in aviation or logistic industries would be desirable
Strong leadership with demonstrated track record of successful projects with demonstrated results
Preferred Lean Expert certification and ideally with Black Belt certification
Hands-on ability to constructively challenge ways of working and influence beyond own function
Strong influencing skill plus excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Practical problem solving skills of resolve problem effectively
Sound Facilitation Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical, detailed and result oriented with the ability to dive deep whilst seeing the big picture
