Department: Procurement & Aircraft Trading Department
Reports to: Manager, Procurement Change



The Procurement & Aircraft Trading Department (APD) is a centralized organization within Cathay Pacific Group responsible for end-to-end procurement of strategic products and services for Cathay Pacific Airways, Hong Kong Dragonair, Air Hong Kong and other subsidiaries. Its mission is to create sustainable and recognized stakeholder value through procurement excellence.

APD is structured by major category of spend, including : Aircraft Trading, Power Plants, Fuel & Fuel Services, Product & Marketing, Information Technology, and Ground Handling / Catering / Accommodation.



Role Profile :

We are looking for an experienced high caliber professional to join.

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Change, will ensure all procurement processes, policies and procedures are ready to be implemented on the Ariba application suite, including establishing appropriate workflows, authorisations and templates working closely with the POM and P2P teams.



Key Responsibilities:
Developing the processes and workflows for supplier registration sourcing, contract management, supplier management, eAuctions, spend analysis, dashboards and reporting;
Establishing relevant templates ready for operational use;
Developing appropriate Ariba eForms;
Implementing the processes, policies and procedures across Procurement working with individuals and Category Teams;
Establishing the most efficient spot buy processes using Ariba;
Establish whether Ariba Network is suitable and value creating (efficiency and effectiveness) for CX;
Ensure the Data flows from Ariba to P2P are fully considered through implementation;
Establish the most effective way of implementing and managing catalogues;
Delivering a road map for implementing best practice within Ariba.

Requirements:

10 years+ experience of using eCommerce platforms, minimum 2 years+ experience of using Ariba;
Strong generalist procurement experience across multiple categories. Categories experience needs to have included services, professional services and products;
Leading and managing complex, high value service related sourcing events including extensive use of Ariba e-RfP, e-Auctions and e-RFI;
Experience of leading / managing eCommerce projects;
Procurement within a blue chip environment;
Working in diverse teams across different cultures;
Computer literate including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Extensive experience of using Ariba and preferably formal Ariba qualifications;
