Air Arabia is looking for individual with strong analytical skills and Flight Operations related experience to join its Planning and Innovation team. The selected individual will be responsible for analyzing past operations based on agreed objective parameters and variables; highlighting areas of concern, implementing corrective actions and identifying additional new parameters to drive the optimization of the overall operations and associated costs.

Key responsibilities:

As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing the existing framework of parameters used to measure and optimize overall operations and associated costs. Where necessary, you will be required to identify additional / new parameters and set new objectives to drive the optimization. You are expected to control and supervise the optimization of operational performance and oversee the budgeting including forecasting within Ground Operations, Flight Operations, Operations Control Centre, Engineering and Maintenance departments.

The job holder will be responsible for leading the daily/weekly on-time-performance (OTP) meetings and to follow up on agreed actions to ensure compliance. You will be required to identify areas of concerns and discuss/validate corrective actions with the concerned heads of departments in addition to providing day-to-day administrative, functional and technical advice to all Hubs. You will proactively elaborate new studies to improve our operations and reduce costs while maintaining an awareness of developing operating constraints that may reasonably be expected to negatively impact the Air Arabia Group. You will also be responsible for controlling the resource planning and ensuring adequate staffing levels. Where required you will take the lead in identifying and evaluating the deployment of new IT BI tools.

In this position, you will be expected to lead by example displaying exemplary levels of initiative and commitment to achieve. You will be expected to work with a proactive approach and take appropriate decisions based on proper analysis of situations bearing in mind the company's interests and cost.

Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Educated to a minimum of Bachelor's degree level preferably in an engineering / technical field, Professional qualification in Flight Dispatch or Commercial Pilot license is also acceptable
A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience within an Airline operational environment, with good knowledge of airline operational areas like Ground Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, etc.
Proficient in the use of MS-Office suite (advanced level) and strong knowledge of IT systems.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Skills in Arabic would be an advantage.
