Description:
Air Arabia is looking for dynamic target driven individual to join its Commercial team. The selected individual will be responsible for representing the interests of Air Arabia in Dubai and for increasing the Company's market share and distribution in the territory.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maximizing revenue generation while establishing, maintaining and growing our network and distribution to achieve commercial targets and goals set for your area. You will be responsible for increasing business opportunities through various existing and new channels while developing and maintaining relationships with government ministries, tourism departments and other government or semi-government agencies in strict compliance with all Air Arabia policies and regulations.
As the Area Manager-UAE, you will also be responsible to inspire and motivate General Sales Agents and others engaged in sales to achieve outstanding sales performance. This includes regular analysis of sales, identify areas for concern and provide feedback to the Head of Sales. You will be also monitor the performance of General Sales Agents where sales targets are not being achieved, conducting analysis, determining the root cause and taking prompt corrective action.
You will be expected to support the Sales Managers to identify new opportunities for sales, new markets and agents while identifying the unique needs of the assigned geographical area / territory that may be met by Air Arabia products and services and strategically guides the UAE Sales team in achievement of their targets with a focus on increasing web sales and promoting Air Arabia Holidays.
In this position, you will be expected to lead your team by example displaying exemplary levels of initiative and commitment to achieve. You will be expected to work with a proactive approach and take appropriate decisions based on proper analysis of situations bearing in mind the company’s interests and cost.
Requirements:
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s degree
At least 7 years of Airline Sales experience
At least 5 years in a Sales Management position
