As we are growing our business in Middle East, Lufthansa Systems is looking for a Key Account Manager based in Dubai with a focus on growing and developing existing clients and generate new business. As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for profitability as well as reaching defined sales targets, maximizing account revenue and negotiating and maintaining contractual agreements with Lufthansa Systems customers. The ideal candidate should demonstrate an entrepreneurial mind-set to constantly seek new ways to develop revenue through partnership and identify new market opportunities
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, monitor and assume responsibility for all necessary measures that secure the economic success of all Lufthansa Systems business arrangements in the assigned area
Be involved in strategic account planning to generate new sales and opportunities to meet profitability targets
Responsible for Revenue/Cost Budgeting and Forecasting
Understand market trends and identify new business potential for Lufthansa Systems
Build trusted, strategic relationships with customers, develop a thorough understanding of their airline operation challenges and add value to our customers' business by proposing the optimal Lufthansa Systems solution
Develop existing accounts into key accounts and generate new business
Act as the key contact point between the customer and all relevant divisions to achieve successful outcomes.
Responsible for all aspects of Contract Management, including coordination with Production Units, Legal and Controlling
Be able to understand the customers’ pain points and proposing suitable and creative solutions to resolve challenges
Act as escalation point for service delivery failures; Coordinate Service Level Reporting, Billing and Customer RFCs with the Service Delivery Manager (if applicable)
Measure level of satisfaction with Lufthansa Systems current services and products to provide feedback to the production units, together with suggesting solutions for improvement of the product function or service

Requirements:

Your profile
Relevant degree in the civil aviation field, business administration, computer science or comparable
Several years of experience in Sales and/or Key Account Management
Strong business development and account management skills
Ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge and understanding of the company's products and services, particularly related to the aviation and IT business
Entrepreneurial / commercial mind-set using innovative and creative approaches to optimize solutions
High level of self-motivation, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Well-developed time management, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills
Willing to travel throughout the Middle East Region and Europe
Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
