Job Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for assuring the compliance and conformance of the company quality management system to the relevant requirements of the civil aviation standards, laws and regulations
Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure establishment of robust company quality management system that meets the civil aviation regulatory requirements as well as other certifying bodies’ requirements and suggest and advise changes and improvements by reviewing and assessment of its effectiveness
Manage the company Quality and audit/surveillance system and coordinate with company managers to analyse root causes of different audit findings, obtain and evaluate related corrective and preventive actions
Liaise and interface with Civil Aviation Authorities and Customers on regulatory and Quality matters
Conduct Company Quality Management review
Ensure legality of the Company Quality Management documentations and processes
Approve assessed/recommended new, developed in-house capabilities

Requirements:

Qualifications

Aircraft Engineer License and/or Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering/aviation sciences/aviation technology

Knowledge, skills and Experience

QMS Lead auditor courses and sound auditing experience
Relevant training courses, including aircraft type courses, SMS, Safety Risk assessment, relevant regulatory training
Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance quality control/quality assurance fields involving aircraft base and line maintenance, engine and components repair workshop and design organisation and recent position of approved quality manager
Extensive experience in developing, documenting and auditing Quality management system of MRO/ DOA
Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation standards, rules and regulations including UAE GCAA, EASA and USA FAA especially Part 145, Part 21 and Part M and application of the same in relevant maintenance organisations
