Description:
The Maintenance Program Analyst is responsible to ensure that the fleet Maintenance program meets or exceeds all Regulatory and Manufacturers requirements to maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition as mandated by Transport Canada.
Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate instructions for continual airworthiness (ADs, SBs etc.) for Maintenance Program applicability and development of Task Cards as required.
Develop Maintenance Program Task Card procedures in accordance with industry approved data.
Collect technical, maintenance-related data from internal IT systems, OEMs, reports/publications/databases.
Liaise with all functional areas of the Maintenance Department to improve reliability, cost reduction, warranty and the Maintenance Program by supporting new programs and projects as directed.
Enhance the Maintenance Program, including component, structural, engine, landing gear, apu and propeller programs as identified via available data and liasing with Reliability.
Implement Maintenance Program revisions by effectively communicating revisions to the rest of the Maintenance Department.
Liaise with OEMs and system vendors for product support and technical resolution as required.
Represent Maintenance Programs Group internally and externally at meetings, conferences, seminars etc. as requested.
Create, present and support technical reports as required internally and externally.
Assess the Maintenance Program for fleet operational requirements. Submit the required Transport Canada documentation such as the Annual Airworthiness report.
Requirements:
Industry Experience/Qualifications:
AME License M/E or S (that has been held within the last two years)
DHC 8-400 endorsement an asset
Experience with Transport Category Aircrafts.
Experience with DHC-8-400 aircraft maintenance program.
Solid understanding of the Computer Maintenance Tracking System (TRAX) and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
Experience with all aviation airworthiness, technical records and Maintenance Program requirements including MSG-3 analysis.
The ability to assist Maintenance Control or Planning personnel in the performance of their duties would be an asset.
Experience with Line and/or Heavy maintenance.
Canadian Driver’s license
Valid Canadian Passport
