Description:

The Key Account Manager holds a key position within the business unit of Completions. In his/her position he/she is assigned by Jet Aviation to be the Project Manager for the sales support and upfront process of one or several interior completion or refurbishment projects. As the Project Manager he/she is responsible for the internal acquisition process. As the Project Leader of the Up-front Definition Process, he/she is responsible for managing the multifunctional team, arranging the customer meetings and reaching the projects defined milestone targets on time, cost and definition quality. Assigned to a customer and the related project, he/she also acts as the single point of contact for any project related matter from the initial contact during the upfront process until handoff of the Completion Design Package to the Project Management Office (PMO). Next to the project management, he/she cultivates the relation to the Customer and Representatives.

•Project Leader of Upfront Completion Projects (Responsible for the complete definition process and project milestones of the up-front process)
•Responsible for Upfront & Sales Support Activities (Channel for Customer Communication) until Final Design Review (FDR) or Handover to the Project Management Office (PMO)
•Management of the proposal process
•Responsible for the delivery of an approved Completion Design Package (Completion Specification, Interior Design package and Engineering Design Package 100% defined on time, cost and quality)
•Preparation of project proposals (technical as well as commercial)
•Responsible Manager for risk assessment and critical path of a Completion Project until Management Handover to the Project Management Office (PMO)
• Interdisciplinary focal point for Interior Design, Engineering, Production, Installation, Supply Chain Management and Certification until Final Design Review (FDR)
•Responsible Manager of the Customer Milestone Meetings (Project Kick-Off, Concept Meetings, Completion Agreement, Review Meetings, Design Freeze until Final Design Review (FDR)
•Supporting Pricing negotiations
•Follow up on Upfront Project Payment Schedule with Billing/Finance
•Keep track of all Additional Work Requests (AWR). Keep track of all AWR#1items
•Management of the project budget (Responsible for Rough Order of Magnitude, Agreement Price, Completion Price)
•Budget & Status reporting to top management (Calculate Completion Project total costs / definition of the scope of work, Jet internal management approval and signature loop, Bid Review and Upfront Project Review with upper management)
•Customer liaison for all customer correspondence prior Final Design Review (FDR); in coordination with Sales
•Ensure proper communication is established between the different departments and relevant individuals for the relevant project prior Final Design Review (FDR)
•Responsible for Management Performance Review (MPR) package deliverables prior Final Design Review (FDR)

Requirements:

Qualification/Experience

•Engineering degree in mechanical, aeronautical engineering or equivalent education is prefered
•Experience in the field of aviation and understanding of complex correlations in aviation industry is mandatory
•Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
•Very good Project Management skills
•Process and result orientation
•Very good knowledge in written and spoken English
