FUNCTION: Reporting to the Director, Brand & Creative Services, the Coordinator, Graphic Production develops creative assets based on the Porter graphic standards. Completes print and online creative to final production. Develops external and internal graphic design materials for a variety of uses – external marketing, sales, corporate, operational, etc. Updates the creative digital files for the Marketing department, as per the required standards. Also develops new creative, based on existing files within the brand standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Coordinator, Graphic Production works closely with in-house and agency designers and others in the Marketing and Communications organization to translate marketing and/or communications strategies into materials that meet & exceed Porter brand personality and standards.The role understands the brand standards well, so that fast response to short-turnaround projects is possible. Brand standards are also important for this role in order to proof print and digital materials. Print creative is central to the role’s responsibilities, answering requests in a broad range of areas. Digital creative is on an as-needed basis, with fast turnaround required in this area as well.
•Creates print and digital materials that engage our current and potential consumers
•Creates print and digital materials for other Porter departments, as per their requirements
•Proofreads print and digital materials before they go to final production
•Develops original creative, based on graphic standards
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
•2+ years experience in design and print production
•Experience with coordination of design projects and quality assurance
•Advanced knowledge of HTML, Flash/HTML5, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MacOS. Working knowledge of MS Office, Photoshop and html
•Passion for exceptional creative and production with a keen attention to detail
•Experience in working positively with a variety of internal partners, on both a technical and non-technical basis
•Strong ability to manage to tight production deadlines, with multiple projects
•Fluency in English is required
•A degree in graphic design from an accredited post-secondary institution
