Gama Aviation MENA is currently looking for an experienced Stores Person to join the Support Services department based at Sharjah International Airport. Gama Support Services provides line maintenance facilities to Business Aircraft operating from Sharjah Airport.



Reporting directly to the Base Maintenance Manager this position is responsible for the overall management of the companies Stores for Aircraft Parts, Tooling and Chemicals. You will be responsible for all record keeping within the stores as well as the correct storage procedures for all materials and parts entered.

Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of the UAE CAR 145 or association requirements is needed for this role, as well as an understanding of UK CAA. You will be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the Sharjah stores facilities and may be required to travel within the MENA region where required.



Experience working as a Stores Person within the Aviation industry is a must as is a strong understanding of the correct storage procedures and management of stores both incoming and outgoing. An understanding of local and international aviation regulations and legislation is an advantage, as well as experience working within the Private Aviation sector.



The successful candidate should have excellent spoken and written English as well as be computer literate. Written and verbal Arabic, Hindi or Urdu would be an advantage.
