Responsibilities:



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



The Intern will work within either one of the commodity groups (Fuel, A/C Maintenance, Indirect, Direct, and Technology) or support Teams



Participate in and support RFx and sourcing events as necessary.



Assist in special Procurement projects as requested



Open, sort, and categorize mail.



Batch orders and scan to send in e-mail.



Build spreadsheets, enter and analyze information.



Build power point presentations.



Check invoices for accuracy.



Resolve invoice errors.



Research and document process flows.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.



Must be at least 18 years of age.



Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.



EDUCATION:



Progress towards degree in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or Finance.



Minimum Junior level.



To be eligible must be currently enrolled as a full time student (minimum 12 credit hours).



Maintained 3.0 or above cumulative GPA.



EXPERIENCE:



Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.



Familiarization with Access and Microsoft Project preferred.



Knowledge of SAP or Ariba Procurement Management System a plus.

Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a team.

PAY:
