Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Intern will work full-time as a Team member within Information Security Services.
Support foundational Information Security Intake function, assisting with tracking, routing, and resolution 2nd and 3rd level escalation.
Support authentication and authorization services provided for COTS applications as well as internally developed applications.
Work with application teams to integrate applications with security infrastructure.
Support threat and vulnerability management tools and perform threat analysis as assigned.
Special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
This position requires authorization to work in the United States as a permanent employee without sponsorship.
EDUCATION:
Progress toward undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related degree.
Minimum level accepted: Junior
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours).
Must be maintaining an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and a GPA of 3.2 or higher in major field of study.
Coursework must include computer science fundamentals, programming languages, and related technical studies.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
IT Engineering experience (in the classroom and/or industry experience) on multiple platforms/technologies required.
Strong analysis skills along with ability to produce requirement and design documents required.
Experience using LINUX operating systems preferred.
LDAP experience preferred.
Experience installing/upgrading and supporting either Microsoft Active Directory or Novell eDirectory preferred.
Foundational scripting or development experience preferred.
Experience with Privileged Identity/Access Products, CyberArk, NetIQ Identity Manager, SecureAuth, and/or F5 APM preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Problem solving ability and strong written/verbal communications skills required.
Ability to stay organized, adapt to change, manage multiple and concurrent assignments, and provide quality work within established deadlines.
Ability to work well in cross-functional Teams and with Customers.
Works well in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, courteous and compassionate.
Quick learner, self-motivated, team oriented, with a sense of humor.
