Responsibilities:

The EPS Senior Manager candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in an information technology environment and 4 years or more providing technical, functional, and strategic leadership for product support and across the enterprise. This role will ensure that value is achieved as anticipated from the managed-services relationships for support. In particular, to ensure that service levels for managed-services services/functions are maintained and continually improved, and that any problems with the day-to-day delivery of services provided by the Service Provider are minimized. The EPS Senior Manager is the front line to the Service Provider’s staff for the functional area (tower and domain) he or she represents. Additional responsibilities include participation in the design and implementation of all HR processes including recruiting / staffing, performance management, IT staff development activities. This role requires off-business hours support at times and travel out of the country.

Possess a solid working knowledge of the business functions that align with assigned Team's responsibilities, and effectively apply that knowledge to provide solutions, support and services.

Functional / Technical Knowledge:

Provides Technical thought Leadership related to assigned functional areas.
Understands best practices, capabilities and constraints related to delivering technical solutions.
Specializes in delivering technology solutions using best practices to achieve maximum Team productivity while delivering high quality products.
Stays abreast of emerging trends, processes, and solutions related to assigned responsibilities.

Influencing & Relationship Building:

Builds strong, collaborative relationships & credibility with various Teams inside & outside of Technology.
Influences and drives change across respective Business and Technology functions.

Effectively oversees fiduciary responsibilities.
Works with Technology and business partners to measure financial benefits and demonstrable business value.

Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.



May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

BS / MS or BA / MBA preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 7 years work experience in an Information Technology environment.

Minimum of 4 years work experience leading application or infrastructure teams and providing work direction.

Excellent partnering, negotiation and communication skills in order to facilitate interactions with business customers and technical support.

Problem determination skills (experience in root cause analysis) and problem resolution skills.

Ability to accomplish results through others (including service providers), particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and monitoring processes.

Manage day-to day relationship with Service Provider to ensure the effective delivery of managed services.

Utilize incident, problem and change management to improve stability of production environment.

ITIL certification or higher.

Vendor management experience for production support.

Experience with infrastructure such as (networking, Unix engineering, database admin, middleware).

Experience with Agile development methodology.
This role requires off-business hours support at times and travel out of the country.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

May be asked on occasions to lift and/or pull weights loads of approx. 20 lbs. on a periodic basis.
May require extended work hours per Leaders' request.
Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a periodic basis.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:



Core Knowledge:

General knowledge of business/Leadership principals, including planning, organizing, directing, developing, and supervising
General knowledge of personnel practices and regulations.
General knowledge of software development practices, concepts, methodologies, tools and trends
Proficient knowledge of project management methodologies

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Limited travel with potential for increased/decreased travel based upon Technology Department needs.

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
