Define, integrate and upgrade IT system architecture to support business strategy.



Job Duties:

Defines and govern enterprise technical architecture by analysing requirements; determining systems architecture, components, and technologies; studying business operations and setup technical standard
Working with infrastructure architecture manager, lead the creation and review of systems capability strategy which meets the strategic requirements of the business
Review and guide project solution architecture. Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers and peer Architects, including software development teams
Initially focus on enterprise information architecture, big data analytics and eCommerce architecture.
Builds commitment to technical strategy by considering and evaluating different points of view; creating a cohesive argument.
Contribute to strategic plans and reviews.
Tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements, and introducing relevant technologies into business
Keep current with digital technologies and impacts to the business.

Requirements:

Required Skills

At least 5 years of experience in enterprise technical architect role in a large organisation, preferable in end user organization. Direct prior experience in software / application development. Experience in managing a small team of technical staff.
Must have in depth experience in software architecture, information / data architecture, eCommerce and mobile architecture. Experience in system architecture for big data analytics is an advantage
Broad and deep knowledge in current technology
Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
Exposure to multiple diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
General skills: Strategic Planning, Persuasion, Business Knowledge, Dealing with Complexity, Problem Solving
